These terms of service apply between the user (you) and Slinkware. You acknowledge that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority and capacity to agree to this contract.

By agreeing to these terms, you must also agree to the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

We reserve the right to alter the terms of service at any time. If this happens, the updated terms of service will be posted in the same location.

Purchases

After payment, you will receive a license key. In turn, a license key may be used to download the Slinky client from the website. A link to the download page will be provided to you after payment.

License keys will always expire eventually:

  • If you purchase a license key with a listed duration of ‘30 days’, then wait a week before you use it, the 30-day period starts the moment you use it.
  • You must use your license key within one year after purchase. If you wait longer than that, we reserve the right to invalidate your license key, meaning that it can no longer be used.

Each license may be used on at most one device.

Acceptable Use

We explicitly allow you to do the following:

  • Record your gameplay while using the Slinky client for personal or commercial purposes
  • Use the Slinky client while anonymizing your IP address, for example with a VPN

Grounds for Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your license for the following reasons:

  • Sharing/selling your license key or any files downloaded from this website
  • Creating a chargeback on your payment (if you want a refund, please contact us instead)
  • Attempting to reverse engineer any files downloaded from this website
  • Attempting to circumvent the licensing system in any files downloaded from this website

We also reserve the right to terminate your license for reasons not listed above, in this case you will be refunded for the time remaining on your license.

Limitation of Liability

Slinkware does not provide any warranty concerning to the Slinky website, Slinky API, or Slinky client, including but not limited to the quality or availability. You agree to release Slinkware from any liability, claims, or damages regarding the use of our products.
